How important is it to get a Registered Migration Agent (RMA) for immigration assistance?

Above all, Registered Migration Agents are monitored by Migration Agents Registration Authority; it is a matter of quality control. 
Only RMA can ask for or receive any fee or other reward for giving immigration assistance. Other people are not entitled to sue for or recover any fee or other reward for giving immigration assistance.
