What do you expect when you ask for immigration assistance from a RMA?
A RMA is not entitled to be paid a fee or other reward for giving immigration assistance unless you are given a statement of services. You may recover your fee if you paid your fee but did not receive such statement of services before paying and you do not receive the statement within the period prescribed by law.

If you are a passenger of a bicycle, do you need to wear a helmet?
If you are a passenger on a bicycle that is moving, or is stationary but not parked, you must wear an approved helmet securely fitted and fastened on your head. The exception is you are a paying passenger on a three or four-wheeled bicycle.

Fringe benefits are not assessable income but reportable in your tax assessment for other purposes. However, some fringe benefits are even exempt and you do not even have to report in the tax assessment. A rarely known example is benefits provided to the religious practitioners in respect of their pastoral duties.

What can you do first when you get a penalty notice for a traffic offence?
Surf at the website of State Debt Recovery Office and read the “SDRO Review Guidelines”. For some traffic offences like parking and red light camera, if you have 10 year clear driving record, your penalty may be waived but a caution will be recorded.

If it is a residential property, subject to certain exceptions (eg. buy the house by public auction), there is a cooling off period. You may rescind the contract at any time before 5pm on the fifth business day after the day on which the contract was made. However, 0,25% of the purchase price of the house will be forfeited by the vendor.
