Under what circumstances should you call police when you are involved in a car crash?

If anyone is killed or injured in the crash; for any reason the other driver does not give you the required particulars; a vehicle involved in the crash is towed or carried away by another vehicle.

By law, you have committed the drink driving offence if, while there was present in your blood the prescribed concentration of alcohol, you drove the motor vehicle, or you occupied the driving seat of the motor vehicle and attempt to put it in motion.

You can contact NSW Housing. If you satisfy certain conditions, they can pay for you the rent in advance and even the rental bond. But you have to repay the rental bond if you terminate the tenancy. Remember, if you borrow money first from someone else to pay the rent in advance and afterward apply to Housing, you are no longer eligible because you have already got money (it is your problem to repay the loan, not their problem!)
